Alright, so here’s the deal.... I haven’t been on here in FOREVER. It is actually ridiculous how long it's been. I have been meaning to get back on here for the LONGEST time, but it seems deviantart is one of those phase things with me. I go at it like crazy for a solid year or so and then it just randomly drops off my priority list for awhile, you know? I have been relentless in my own personal journals, but it has gotten to the point where I just really want to share my thoughts and feeling with actual people. Regardless of whether or not I actually KNOW those people... sometimes it's actually better when I don't. But then, you guys know exactly what I mean. You're Deviants too!

So needless to say, I have grown up a LOT since the last time I journaled on here, or posted any poetry. I was reading back over all of my old stuff, and I realized just how very angsty and dramatic I used to be about some things lol. I was actually thinking about deleting a lot of those old posts, but then I decided against it. That's who I was, who I've been, and who made me what I am today. I couldn’t stand to delete it. Instead, I've decided to take a different angle, hopefully giving everyone the chance to get to know the person I am today as well. I'm just going to try and update you on everything I've left you out of in the past couple of years. We'll see how it goes.

For starters, I am no longer dating Stuart. I'll leave a pause here for everyone to gasp and act all shocked.

*Pause*

Better? Good. Now I know it seemed like I was head over heels and everything was perfect, I know everyone thought we were soul mates who were destined to be together for eternity, blah blah blah... but then that's what you get when you put a puppy-love stricken teenager on a computer to dish out her feelings to the world. Things definitely came out a lot more fairy-tale-esque than they actually were.

No, Stuart and I just weren’t working. I am actually with someone new now, his name is Nick, and I'm quite content with the way things are between us. He actually asked me to move in with him recently, and I accepted. We've been together for about a year now and things are going well. I feel like I'm finally starting to lay the foundations for a relationship that can actually last.

Anyway, there’s one update for you, more to come. For now I should probably get off of here and head to bed. Ciao!
